Role: Senior QA Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution – Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for eCommerce applications.
Automation Testing – Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.) for functional and regression testing.
API Testing – Validate backend services using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Performance & Load Testing – Ensure system performance under different loads using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
Security & Penetration Testing – Identify vulnerabilities and enhance application security.
Database Testing – Validate data integrity and perform SQL queries for backend validation.
Defect Tracking & Reporting – Use tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect management tools to report and track bugs.
Collaboration with Development Teams – Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to improve overall product quality.
Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Testing – Ensure application compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
Agile Testing – Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ 3-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing
✔ Strong knowledge of eCommerce domain testing
✔ Hands-on experience with UI Testing, API Testing, Regression Testing
✔ Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit)
✔ Experience in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
✔ Strong understanding of performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner
✔ Experience in database testing (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
✔ Proficiency in defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
✔ Experience in security & penetration testing
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
