Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Electronics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge electromagnetic simulation software, FEKO. As part of the QA team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and collaborating with the development team to deliver exceptional software solutions for electromagnetic simulation and analysis.
Should have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering
What You Will Do:
- Test functional areas of the product to find and confirm bugs or performance issues
- Create scripts and add new automated tests for use cases not yet automated
- Troubleshoot and make corrections to the existing suite of automated tests
- Work towards fully automating the testing pipeline
- Report issues through the bug tracking software and validate fixes to bugs reported
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Have completed basic electromagnetic or high frequency techniques courses at university. Familiarity with FEKO or similar electromagnetic simulation tools is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming for test automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of computational electromagnetics (CEM) principles and applications.
- Experience with FEKO.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Experience in software quality assurance, preferably for engineering or simulation software.
