Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of Python development experience, strong expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Agile methodologies, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). You will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-performance trading applications while working with cross-functional teams and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and deliver scalable Python applications and event-driven microservices.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient integration and performance optimization.
• Manage databases (especially SQL Server) and optimize performance.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and maintain solution patterns.
• Utilize cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of Python development.
• Experience with FastAPI, async processing, and BDD.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Strong back-end development experience and database management (SQL Server).
• Experience in energy trading environments is a plus.

General Skills:

• Strong understanding of software development principles.
• Knowledge of energy trading and financial systems is beneficial.
• Ability to prioritize, collaborate, and share knowledge.
