About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team on a 6-month contract. You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices that power our core products. If you're a Python expert with a passion for building efficient systems and love collaborating in a fast-paced environment—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Build RESTful APIs and architect scalable microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and data sources.
• Ensure responsiveness, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in agile rituals, code reviews, and design discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Proficiency in Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases.
• Hands-on with Docker; Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI for CI/CD.
• Working experience on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of software design patterns and system architecture.
• Knowledge of async programming (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp).
• Exposure to message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
