Senior PHP Developer

Overview

Roles and Responsibility:

• Responsible and able to contribute to all phases of software development lifecycle right from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring to development, testing, and delivery.
• Responsible for project specifications and estimations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and the development team to understand the initial scope for a new project.
• Should be able to guide, train, and support junior members of the team.
• Can write clean safe code that is clear, testable, and understandable by others.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of the projects you collaborate with.
• Should be able to perform validation and integration testing.
• Detection of any technical errors that might have arisen due to any mistake in the code.
• Review code and do proper testing of developed code at various stages to detect bugs.
• Improve and maintain our content management system which includes an API that serves all our apps, an admin tool for internal and client use.
• Needs to collaborate with designers, CSS & HTML programmers, project managers.
• Should be able to work with cross-functional teams as and when required.
• Need to have work experience of agile project methodologies and their impact on iterative design.
• Should be able to design the architecture of the program.
• Maintaining a relationship with the client.
• To update the site with added features, testing for proper functioning.
• Deliver proper guidance on the page layout for the client websites.
• Keep up-to-date with all SSTech systems! Projects and their enhancements.
• Maintain excellent customer satisfaction level.
• Responsible to meet the deadline of deliverables on time and of high quality.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in creating and maintaining object-oriented PHP5/7 version based systems.
• Hands on experience with MVC framework like Codeigniter and knowledge and experience of different ecommerce platform like WordPress (Woocommerce), Shopify etc. preffered.
• Deliverable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax.
• Must have knowledge and experience of using version control systems such as Git.
• Should have a good understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks.
• Should have good knowledge and experience in creating, documenting, and maintaining REST APIs using JSON.
• Exceptional knowledge of core PHP/RDMS/Postgres.
• Sound knowledge and experience in source code revision control systems such as Git, and project management tool Jira.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
