Senior PHP Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in web development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, MySQL, and web technologies, along with a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable web applications. You will work on developing and maintaining complex backend systems, collaborating with front-end developers, and ensuring the technical feasibility of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality PHP applications and websites.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define and implement technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing PHP applications for performance and scalability.
• Implement new features, functionalities, and improvements in existing systems.
• Maintain and improve website and database performance.
• Work with version control systems like Git to manage codebase.
• Ensure code quality through regular code reviews and testing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to PHP development.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional PHP development experience.

Languages/Technologies:

• Strong proficiency in PHP (preferably PHP 7.x or later).
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong experience with databases (MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Version Control: Proficient in using Git for source code management.
• Web Development: Understanding of responsive design, front-end technologies, and RESTful APIs.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and debug issues efficiently.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Tools: Experience with debugging and performance optimization tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
