Senior PHP Developer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain Applications:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Work with front-end frameworks like React.js to integrate the user interface with back-end systems.

Database Management:

• Create and optimize MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Ensure efficient database queries and implement robust database design practices.

Code Review and Debugging:

• Review and improve code written by peers.
• Identify and fix bugs, ensuring the application runs efficiently and reliably.
• Perform regular debugging and troubleshooting to optimize the application performance.

Collaborate with Teams:

• Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions.

API Development:

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into the application.
• Ensure smooth communication between the back-end and front-end through efficient API integration.

Performance Optimization:

• Continuously monitor application performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement, optimizing for better speed, scalability, and overall performance.

Stay Updated:

• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in PHP development and modern web technologies.
• Continuously seek ways to improve code quality and development processes.

Mentorship:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, helping them grow in their careers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team.

Requirements:Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, including experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or other PHP frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns in web development.

Database Skills:

• Expertise in database design, management, and optimization for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and advanced database query optimization is a plus.

Problem-Solving:

• Strong debugging skills with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and propose effective solutions.

Soft Skills:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
