Senior PHP Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Core PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in core PHP development and a deep understanding of web development principles. This position requires someone with a passion for clean code, performance optimization, and the ability to work on complex projects independently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using core PHP (no frameworks).
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
• Develop custom PHP applications and solutions based on client requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize PHP code for better performance.
• Ensure the responsiveness and scalability of applications.
• Implement security best practices in the PHP code and ensure data protection.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and web services.
• Maintain and improve existing applications and back-end systems.
• Create and manage database structures (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and optimize queries.
• Work closely with the product and design teams to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in core PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP), error handling, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with SQL optimization and writing efficient database queries.
• Proficiency in jQuery and integrating it with PHP-based applications for front-end functionality.
• Ability to develop custom solutions and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
