Senior PHP Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in core PHP along with hands-on expertise in frameworks like CodeIgniter. You must be proficient in working with APIs, Cron Jobs, SQL Databases, and possess a deep understanding of JavaScript concepts like Promises, Async/Await, Closures, Callback, and Map. If you're passionate about clean code, problem-solving, and creating scalable web applications, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable PHP code using core PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
• Implement and manage Cron Jobs for scheduled tasks.
• Work with APIs (RESTful/Web Services) – integration and development.
• Manage and optimize SQL databases including queries, joins, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain modular Object-Oriented PHP (OOPs) code.
• Handle arrays, strings, and other data structures effectively in both PHP and JavaScript.
• Utilize CodeIgniter Hooks to extend functionality without modifying core files.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript.
• Work with advanced JS concepts including Promises, Async/Await, Closures, Callback functions, and Map functions.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning and improvement.

Technical Skills Required:

• Core PHP, OOPs concepts, Arrays, Strings
• CodeIgniter framework, including Hooks
• API integration (REST/JSON)
• Cron Jobs setup and management
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/SQL Databases
• Proficient in JavaScript, including ES6+ features:
• Promises, Async/Await
• Closures, Callback functions
• Map, Filter, Reduce, etc.
• Understanding of MVC architecture
• Git version control

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks
• Familiarity with front-end libraries like jQuery, React, or Vue (optional)
• Basic understanding of server-side deployment and hosting
• Exposure to tools like Postman, Swagger, or API testing tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
