Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of our network infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend advanced networking technologies to enhance performance.
• Implement and maintain robust network security measures.
• Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Lead the resolution of complex network issues and outages.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and implement network automation solutions.
• Utilize scripting languages for efficient network management.
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure network scalability.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to meet future requirements.
• Manage relationships with network equipment vendors.
• Evaluate new products and technologies to enhance the network.
  
  

Skill & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a network engineering role, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of network design principles, routing protocols, switching technologies, and network security concepts.
• Extensive experience with network configuration and management tools, including CLI and automation scripts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems and analyze network data for root cause identification.
• Experience with network automation technologies like Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Network security certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud networking platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach to network management is crucial.
• Demonstrated leadership and experience in mentoring and coaching are preferred.
