Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage incident response and log analysis.
- Participate in project implementation alongside Level 3 engineers.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex network issues.
- Optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Handle intermediate Routing and Switching tasks, including:
- Configuring and managing dynamic routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP).
- Implementing and troubleshooting VLANs and inter-VLAN routing.
- Managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
- Configuring and maintaining access control lists (ACLs).
- Implementing Quality of Service (QoS) policies.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Hands-on experience with Versa SD-WAN deployment and management.
- Proficiency in Routing and Switching.
- Proficiency in network security practices and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Hands-on experience with Versa Director, Versa Analytics, and SD-WAN components such as CPEs, Gateways, and WAN optimization.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Firewall, IPsec VPNs, SD-WAN policies, and QOS.
- Analyze network traffic reports, logs, and alerts to ensure optimal operation of the SD-WAN infrastructure.
- Perform firmware upgrades, and configuration changes as required.
- Versa SD-WAN Certification is preferred.
