Senior Network Engineer - Nokia 7250/7750 Platform

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms, particularly focusing on IP routing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, with a deep understanding of IP routing protocols. The Network Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability and security of network infrastructure. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and ready work in flexible timing.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain and migrate network infrastructure based on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, ISIS and VPRN.
• Configure, troubleshoot, Optimize services like ePipe, IES, VPRN.
• Managing NOKIA NSP platform.
• Level 3/Level 4 support for network infrastructure on Nokia platforms.
• Collaborate with other teams to design and implement network security policies and solutions.
• Conduct regular network audits and implement best practices for network performance and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Participate in the evaluation and testing of new hardware, networking technologies.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.
• Strong expertise in IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS along with VPLS , VPRN, IES and VXLAN.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Nokia 7250 and 7750 routers.
• Proficiency in network design principles and best practices.
• Good understanding of network security principles and protocols (e.g., ACLs, IPSec, VPN).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) for network management and automation.

Certifications: Industry certifications such as Nokia Service Routing Architect (SRA)
