• To lead and perform hands-on manual testing activities for projects, ensuring adherence to industry standard testing best practices and driving quality through innovative testing approach.

Job Description

• A Test Lead with strong individual contributor capabilities, adept at collaborating with a highly skilled team to leverage extensive technical expertise in testing applications for the US mortgage market. Should work along with Business Analysts on requirement discussions, impact analysis, identifying critical path and maximizing test coverage. Should be a proactive self-starter rather than merely a task executor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Test Case Design & Execution: Design and execute detailed manual test cases based on business requirements, covering critical functionalities and edge cases.
• API and Backend Testing: Perform thorough manual API testing using tools like Postman, ensuring smooth integration and validating endpoint responses.
• Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA,
  ensuring clear reporting and resolution of issues.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements, providing valuable feedback from a testing perspective.
• Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance testing manually, identifying potential bottlenecks and ensuring the system meets performance standards.
• Test Plan Development: Create comprehensive test plans and scenarios to guide manual testing efforts throughout the project.
• Continuous Integration Support: Participate in continuous integration practices, ensuring alignment between testing activities and the overall project workflow.
• Test Process Improvement: Contribute to refining testing processes to improve efficiency, coverage, and accuracy in manual testing activities.
• Domian expertise: Working experience in building applications within US Mortgage Domain.
• Expected to have good communication and experience in working directly with US based customers.
• Expected to work at least 4 hours overlap with US Pacific business hours.
