Your role and responsibilities

In this role, We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ML Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge machine learning infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a robust, scalable platform that supports both traditional machine learning and generative AI applications.

The work model for the role is hybrid

This role is contributing to the Corporate Advanced Analytics team in Bangalore. This role reports to Principal Data Science Lead.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• The role involves designing and architecting a comprehensive ML platform that seamlessly integrates both traditional machine learning and generative AI workloads.
• You will be responsible to develop scalable, secure, and highly performant infrastructure capable of handling diverse ML/AI use cases.
• You will be tasked with developing and maintaining end-to-end MLOps pipelines, as well as designing continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows specifically tailored for machine learning models.
• The position requires expertise in cloud-native ML platform design with a preference for Azure, coupled with advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
• You will be responsible for designing flexible architecture that supports traditional machine learning frameworks, generative AI models (including Large Language Models and Diffusion Models), and framework-agnostic model deployment.
  
  

Qualifications for the role

• BE o.r equivalent degree required
• 8+ years of comprehensive experience in machine learning and AI platforms, along with a proven track record of designing and maintaining large-scale ML infrastructures.
• A deep technical understanding is required across multiple domains including machine learning algorithms, generative AI technologies, distributed computing, and cloud infrastructure.
• You should demonstrate expert-level programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, and Go, complemented by advanced knowledge of ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading junior data scientists
• Deep knowledge in one or more functional areas such as finance, operations, sales, account management etc.
