What You Will Do

• Containerisation Platform Engineer should design and automate the process with proper tools.
• Build Manage and maintain multitenant EKS/Nomad clusters
• Developing appropriate DevOps channels throughout the organization.
• Evaluating, implementing and streamlining DevOps practices.
• Establishing a continuous build environment to accelerate software deployment and development processes.
• Engineering general and effective processes.
• Helping operation and development teams to solve their problems.
• Handling cloud-based environments - Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Handling automated deployment CI/CD tools
• Supervising, Examining and Handling technical operations.
• Providing a DevOps Process and Operations.

Who You Are

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using EKS, ECS, and Nomad.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, cost, and security.
• Define and enforce best practices for container security, networking, and observability
• Implement auto-scaling solutions using Karpenter, Cluster Autoscaler, or custom scaling policies.
• Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud container strategies.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to container orchestration and workload performance.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and SRE teams to enhance the container platform.
• Experience with service mesh solutions (Istio, Consul, Linkerd) and container networking.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) and Helm.
• Manage the containerisation environments with tools such as Terraform and Terraform CDK and others.
• Work closely with the Cloud Engineering team.
  
  

Must Have Skills

• • 8-10 years of experience of which at least 4 years in design and administering complex production Kubernetes platforms. (CKA and or CKAD certifications desired) and Basic Linux troubleshooting skills.
  • 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure As Code (Terraform/Ansible/CDK/Pulumi).
  • Experience with Hashicorp Nomad or Hashicorp Consul
  • Must have DevSecOps skills required (CI\CD, Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab,Artifactory, Git ,etc.)
  • Solid working knowledge of networking technologies.
  • Solid working knowledge of AWS or GCP.
  • Good understanding on the IaaS, PaaS layers.
  • Drive initiatives to identify right set of cloud technologies/ provider to be used for specific type of solutions and drive the effort to templatize and automate those technologies to be used at scale in all products and applications across the organization.
  • Define and implement the relevant monitoring and alerting.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, for internal use and for other stakeholders.
  • Experience on leading the design and architecting of Kubernetes ecosystem, including competing technologies (deployment, configuration, scaling and management of containerized applications).
  • Experience in building secure and optimized docker images.
  • Experience with managed Kubernetes services, EKS (preferred) or GKE.
  • Bash or any scripting language and preferably Python or Go.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS Certified Kubernetes Specialist. (preferred)
    

Nice To Have Skills

• AWS certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or CentOS)
• Bash and one other scripting language (preferably Python or Go)
• Experience with server build and management tools, such as Puppet, Ansible Secure cloud connectivity using Aviatrix/Arista etc
• Ability to work in a SAFe Agile environment
• AWS or GCP Network specialty certification is a huge plus
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and Management (EKS)
