Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Java Struts Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our development team. As a Senior Java Struts Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Java-based applications utilizing the Struts framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Struts 1.x or Struts 2.x, Java development, and a strong understanding of enterprise application architecture.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of developers, architects, and business analysts to create scalable, high-performance applications that meet business requirements and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using the Struts framework (Struts 1.x or 2.x).
• Collaborate with other developers to build and integrate complex features into the application.
• Develop and implement the front-end and back-end components of the system, ensuring seamless integration.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, improving performance and scalability.
• Ensure that applications are optimized for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Write unit tests and work with the QA team to ensure the quality of delivered code.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to Java and the Struts framework.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Java development, including significant experience with the Struts framework (Struts 1.x or Struts 2.x).
• Core Java: Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and associated technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, etc.).
• Struts Framework: Expertise in Struts framework, understanding both Struts 1.x and Struts 2.x architecture, components, and best practices.
• Front-End Technologies: Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and integrating them with Java-based back-end systems.
• Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and working with Hibernate, JDBC, or JPA for database connectivity.
• MVC Architecture: Deep understanding of MVC architecture and implementing it using Struts.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Build Tools: Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle for project management.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and integration testing in Java environments.
• Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with web services (RESTful APIs, SOAP).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Java applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
