Job Description: Java Developer with Database Programming Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with a strong focus on database programming to join our team. This role emphasizes expertise in database development and optimization, with Java programming serving as a secondary skill.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Database Development:
• Design and develop database triggers, constraints, and custom scripts to ensure efficient and reliable data management.
• Work experience with PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.
• Create custom solutions to address gaps in tooling (Amazon DMS may not be the preferred be – and will need to assist custom tailoring a migration option)
• ORM Tools and Frameworks:
• Work with tools such as Hibernate, Flyway, and other JPA frameworks for database interaction and migration.
• CDK (Cloud Development Kit):
• Apply a developer’s mindset to implement CDK solutions, demonstrating the ability to code beyond basic administrative tasks.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Support Java Development
• Collaborate on broader system and application development initiatives while maintaining a primary focus on database-centric tasks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Database Expertise:
• Proven experience in writing and managing triggers, constraints, and advanced database scripting.
• Strong understanding of relational database systems and optimization techniques.
• Java Development:
• Proficiency in Java, with the ability to work effectively in a developer role when needed.
• ORM and Migration Tools:
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, Flyway, and other JPA-related tools.
• CDK Implementation:
• Demonstrated ability to implement CDK solutions with a developer mindset.
• Independent Problem-Solving:
• Capability to develop custom solutions where tooling may be insufficient.

This position is ideal for a developer with a strong database focus, comfortable tackling challenges that combine database programming with supporting Java development and cloud-based solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
