Senior Java developer

Software Requirements:

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable Java applications.
• Implement and oversee solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Develop and manage REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ensure efficient use of containerization technologies such as ECS and OpenShift.
• Integrate and manage messaging systems using Kafka.
• Leverage MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
• Analyze complex requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Identify, solve, and mitigate technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  
  

Technical Skills:

Category-wise:

Java Development:

• Proficiency in Java 11 / 17.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  
  

API and Microservices:

• Good knowledge of REST API development.
• Experience in developing and managing microservices architecture.
  
  

Containerization:

• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as ECS and OpenShift.
  
  

Messaging Systems:

• Good understanding and experience with Kafka.
  
  

Data Storage:

• Proficiency in MongoDB for data storage and management.
  
  

Front-end Development:

• Knowledge of Angular is a plus.
  
  

Experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in leading development projects and teams.
  
  

Day-to-Day Activities:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
