Overview
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Java/J2EE technologies, the Spring Framework, and RESTful web services.
- Architecture and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and integrate back-end services with front-end technologies.
- API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between various applications and services.
- Database Integration: Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, perform integration testing, and resolve bugs to ensure the stability of the application.
- Code Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve application performance by optimizing code and queries.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of technical processes, architecture, and deployment procedures.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives) and contribute to the success of the project.
- Collaboration: Work with other developers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Core Java / J2EE: Strong experience with Java SE and Java EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, EJB, etc. ).
- Spring Framework: In-depth knowledge of Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
- RESTful Web Services: Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Databases: Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Web Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS).
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Development Tools: Experience with Maven, Gradle, and integrated development environments like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
- Testing Frameworks: Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks.
- Containers: Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments is a plus.
- CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, etc. ).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- [3-5+ years] of hands-on experience in Java development, specifically with Spring Framework and RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React (optional but preferred).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools is a plus.
