Overview
Core Duties:
Troubleshoot and resolve user hardware and software issues (Break/Fix).
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Servers.
Install and configure new software on network devices.
Update and maintain network documentation.
Enhance and maintain network security.
Assist in planning and executing network projects aligned with the roadmap.
Manage new starter setups and leaver procedures.
Update and maintain the company intranet.
Liaise with software and hardware suppliers.
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 7+ years of IT experience in corporate environment
- 5+ years’ Active Directory experience
- Minimum 5 years Microsoft Exchange experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with VMWare Servers (Virtual
Machines)
- Good understanding of IP Addressing, routing, DNS, TCP/IP
- Experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
- Good understanding of Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
- Organised, hardworking, willing to learn, “can do” attitude
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience of SonicWALL firewalls and site to site VPN software
- Experience with monitoring and alerting software, for example PRTG
- Avaya Phone System Administration
- Sage 200 Knowledge
- Heimdal AV and patching knowledge
- Veeam Disaster Recovery solutions
Qualifications:
- MCSE, MCSA or equivalent i.e. Microsoft Role based Administrator
