Senior IT Project Manager

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in PHP development, Laravel, and WordPress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers while maintaining and improving existing websites and servers. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of developers to ensure successful project execution.
• Maintain and optimize existing PHP-based websites and servers.
• Design, develop, analyze, debug, and maintain PHP web applications using Laravel and WordPress.
• Manage secure APIs, SOAP, REST API, OAuth, and WebSocket implementations.
• Ensure effective database management and web service development using MySQL.
• Work with Laravel and WordPress to develop scalable applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate ReactJS and NodeJS technologies where necessary.
• Administer Linux servers (LAMP stack, WHM panel), ensuring smooth operation and security.
• Utilize SSH and Linux commands for efficient server management and troubleshooting.
• Oversee and execute third-party API integrations with inbound and outbound communications.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications developed by other developers.
• Maintain, backup, and administer web servers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring project scope and progress updates.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.
• Experience in leading a team of developers and managing IT projects.
• Expertise in web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with web services such as secure APIs, SOAP, REST API, OAuth, and WebSocket.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.).
• Proficiency in PHP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like ReactJS and NodeJS is a plus.
• Experience in Linux server administration, LAMP stack management, and WHM panel.
• Hands-on experience with SSH, Linux commands, and server security practices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly with third-party API integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in AWS, Laravel, WordPress, or relevant web technologies.
• Proven track record in leading and managing IT projects.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
