Senior IT Administrator

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our team. As an IT Admin, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the IT infrastructure of our payment gateway platform. You will ensure the smooth operation of our systems, provide technical support, and maintain the security and performance of the network. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and an understanding of the unique challenges involved in the payment processing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
• Monitor the performance of systems and networks, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our payment gateway platform.
• Administer and support operating systems, databases, and application software.
• Implement and enforce network security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive payment data.
• Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner, providing technical support to users across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions and infrastructure improvements.
• Manage and maintain access controls, permissions, and user accounts to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Oversee software installation, updates, and patch management for servers and workstations.
• Maintain network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs, ensuring the secure transmission of payment data.
• Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including hardware upgrades, system migrations, and new technology implementations.
• Document IT processes, configurations, and security policies for internal use and audits.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in IT administration, network security, and payment gateway technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration, with experience supporting payment gateway or financial services platforms preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, storage systems, and databases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,442.34 - ₹50,639.43 per month
