Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to architect, build, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions. In this role, you will work across the entire technology stack—from front-end interfaces to back-end services—delivering high-quality products that meet both technical and business objectives. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior developers and guide best practices in coding, architecture, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Architecture
- Design and develop end-to-end solutions, including front-end, back-end, and database components.
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
2. Front-End Engineering
- Build user-friendly and responsive web interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Implement reusable UI components and maintain consistent design patterns across the application.
- Optimize front-end performance and user experience.
3. Back-End & Database Development
- Develop server-side logic using languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET (depending on the tech stack).
- Implement RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints, ensuring efficient data exchange and secure integrations.
- Design and maintain relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with a focus on reliability and performance.
4. DevOps & CI/CD
- Set up, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premises servers, optimizing for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Ensure system observability and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
5. Code Quality & Reviews
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members to maintain high-quality codebases.
- Enforce testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) and ensure robust test coverage.
6. Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, design, product) in an agile environment to deliver high-impact features.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
- Champion best practices in software development processes and tooling.
7. Security & Compliance
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities and address them proactively.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Identify areas of improvement in existing systems and processes and propose sustainable solutions.
- Advocate for a culture of innovation, quality, and ownership within the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, including front-end frameworks, back-end services, and database technologies.
- Proven track record of deploying and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in at least one modern front-end framework (React or Vue).
- Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET (depending on stack requirements).
- Proficient in designing and optimizing relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Strong understanding of software security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience mentoring junior developers or leading small teams.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Certifications in cloud platforms, security, or project management.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
