The Team and Role:

The Web Development team at Logitech plays a crucial role in the company's digital AI transformation, focusing on developing innovative, integrated AI-driven applications and interfaces that improve user interaction, experience, and brand presence for internal and external customers.

As an AI Frontend Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects integrating AI SDKs such as OpenAI function calling, LangChain, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). MCP is a new and evolving standard, so experience with it is a plus. Your contributions will ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into the user interface while maintaining performance and design excellence. Collaborating across teams, your work will set the foundation for the future of digital engagement at Logitech.

• AI SDK Integration: Integrate cutting-edge AI SDKs, such as OpenAI function calling, Anthropic, Bedrock, LangChain, and MCP, into web applications to deliver intelligent and interactive user experiences.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to create cohesive, functional, and visually engaging AI-powered user experiences.
• Code Excellence: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while ensuring robust compatibility with design specifications.
• Component Libraries & Optimization: Build and optimize reusable, AI-enhanced component libraries for cross-project utilization.
• Performance Analysis: Continuously analyze interface performance, optimizing load times and interactions for applications enhanced by AI.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, adhere to high-quality coding standards, and implement automated testing for front-end and AI-integrated functions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code structures, AI SDK integrations, libraries, and APIs.
• Trend Spotting and Innovation: Stay updated with AI and front-end web development trends and technologies to lead innovation.
• Problem-solving: Identify and troubleshoot both general UX issues and specific AI-related challenges, delivering solutions that improve satisfaction and engagement.
  
  

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming and problem-solving skills, driven to engineer high-quality, maintainable solutions on long-term projects.
• Frontend Expertise: Expert proficiency in web browsers, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• JavaScript Frameworks: Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte).
• Familiarity with hybrid frameworks, e.g., Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt.
  

AI-Specific Experience:

• Proven work integrating AI SDKs, such as OpenAI function calling, LangChain, or MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Hands-on experience developing responsive websites or AI-enhanced web applications.
  
  

General Experience:

• Development: 4+ years experience in developing modern, responsive websites/web applications.
• Framework Use: 3+ years experience with modern JS frameworks like React/Angular/Vue/Svelte.
• Version-control methodologies expertise (e.g., Git).
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Tailwind CSS for streamlined styling.
• Adobe Experience Manager, Java, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud exposure.
• Project management tools like JIRA or Asana.
• Understanding AI design patterns to improve workflow productivity.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with hands-on projects.
