Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to refine, improve, develop and deliver frontend features.
2. Work with SDETs to assist in authoring frontend automation tests, advocating for quality and reliability in our product.
3. Taking UX mockups from Figma, build and maintain a frontend design system; use this design system to rapidly develop frontend features.
4. Work with backend developers to develop feature-specific internal APIs.
5. With guidance from the Engineering Lead, work independently and use available resources to remove barriers and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
6. Develop observable code and proactively configure monitoring in our APM tools; rapidly debug and fix issues as they occur and provide root cause analysis.
7. Mentor and coach less experienced Frontend Engineers, leading code reviews and establishing best practices.
8. Propose and implement infrastructure and framework changes to keep the product current on latest advancements.

9. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in building web applications (HTML/CSS/TypeScript | ReactJS | NodeJS)
10. Deep experience in JavaScript frameworks (NextJS or similar technologies)
11. Experience implementing distributed micro-frontends with a common component library

12. Experience integrating with Web APIs (REST | GraphQL)
13. Experience with Git and GitHub development workflows
14. Experience in accessibility standards compliance and assistive technologies
15. Knowledge of application monitoring (New Relic, Clarity, Sentry)
16. Knowledge of Codespaces or Remote Development practices
17. Familiar with web testing automation in Playwright or similar tools
18. Familiar with CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions)
19. Familiar with Figma or similar tools
20. Demonstrated ability to meet and achieve professional goals, both independently and as a team, and achieve timely follow-through on commitments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?100,000.00 - ?1,800,000.00 per year
