About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Embedded Software QA Engineer for one of our esteemed clients, a leading global player in the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry. As EV adoption continues to grow, our client is at the forefront of developing innovative EV charging solutions, integrating hardware, software, and cloud technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing and automating platform/embedded software features for networked EV charging stations. You will work across various solutions, including Home, Commercial AC, DC Fast, and Ultrafast DC stations, ensuring high-quality and seamless performance across global deployments. If you have strong expertise in embedded software testing and Python automation, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and QA documentation based on software requirements and specifications.
• Perform hands-on testing of platform/embedded software.
• Automate test cases and processes using Python.
• Identify, file, and track bugs and defects, ensuring complete resolution.
• Provide timely status updates and assist in decision-making for release readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and field teams to understand support issues and drive solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded/Platform Software QA.
• Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python for test automation.
• Exposure to board-level testing (bonus).
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
