Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Overview

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing firmware for our SD-WAN solution. You will work closely with our hardware and software engineering teams to design, develop, and test firmware that meets the requirements.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain firmware for our SD-WAN solution

●Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure firmware compatibility

● Debug and troubleshoot issues with firmware development

● Design and implement firmware features and functionality

● Ensure firmware quality and reliability through testing and validation

● Stay current with industry trends and developments in firmware development

● Experience in working with Linux kernel and embedded systems.

●Developed using different programming languages, including Python, Perl, and Lua, among others.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, with 4-5 years of related work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.

• Strong foundation in programming concepts, particularly in C.

• Understanding of embedded systems architecture.

• Experience with OpenWrt, Wi-Fi Drivers, Routing protocols, Linux devices, and kernel compilation.

• Ability to debug C and Python code, with experience working with SDK/Toolchain.

• Understanding of OpenWrt, experience with wireless protocol stacks, and familiarity with the Linux connectivity stack.

• Experience with Linux machine bring-up, operating system customization, and driver porting.

• Proficiency in C and Python, with experience using GitHub.

• Good understanding of networking, Linux user space, and kernel.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
