Overview
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (in Windows) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in India.

Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of professional experience.
- Knowledge of massive-scale public or private cloud operations, automation, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Strong experience in the Microsoft stack, including Windows Server environments, IIS, deploying .Net applications, and MS SQL Server clusters.
- Nice to know Active Directory, Windows Server roles.
- Strong automation development experience in Chef as a configuration management tool using Ruby.
- Strong experience with the PowerShell language and tool-making development.
- Experience with Terraform or adjacent tools such as Terragrunt, Pulumi.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and coding principles.
- Knowledge/Experience with GitHub actions/workflows.
- Extensive knowledge of Cloud/SaaS architecture using AWS and/or Azure platforms.
- Basic understanding of networking systems and protocols in cloud environments (virtual networks, security groups, DNS, routing, IP).
- Experience with Artifact repositories deployment, configuration, and management.
- Knowledge/Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
- Will be confident in their ability to own and deliver projects and issues to resolution.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation (once per 6 weeks).
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and in writing).
- Provide technical expertise to an operations team to manage the cloud’s reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Build upon the high standards of cloud operations through an automation-first philosophy, collective ownership, and continuous learning.
- Develop strong relationships with engineering, performance, support, and success teams to improve the cloud’s reliability, performance, availability, and security.
- Administer Windows servers in a massive-scale public cloud environment.
- Develop new automation and administration tools.
- Deploy product releases and maintenance updates.
- Evaluate, specify, implement, and support performance and availability monitoring tools.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
