We are seeking for an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our team.

You will provide consultation, guidance and problem solving expertise with respect to complex technical issues. You need to ensure the software applications environment is well developed and maintained with high quality.

You will need to ensure all agreed targets and Service Level Agreements are met and emergency incidents are managed and resolved within the agreed target resolution times.

Provide technical support for Mapping, Flow related issues that are raised by End customers.

• Manage Azure related services and ensure any incidents reported to it are resolved within SLA.
• Coordinate with Build /Architect team for any long pending cases in configuration.
• Ensure deployments are done on time in Production environment.
• Maintain the list of servers under each service category with the inventory of applications, middleware and patches installed.
• Prepare the patching calendar with proposed dates for patching server components.
• Provide the overview of patching schedules to BUIT and get proper approval for downtime
• Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
• Plan, execute and support implementations so the patches are deployed with minimal disruption to the production environment and meet established standards. Provide deployment services for area of competence
• Maintain smooth operation of servers, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
• Maintain good working relationships with appropriate internal and external DHL customers
• Provide technical support to users of business applications, using standard ITS processes and procedures while trouble shooting the issues in patch implementation
• Provide verbal and written technical reports to specialists on aspects of system status.
• Investigate vulnerabilities and other threats and determine appropriate actions
• Liaise with staff responsible for the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems
• Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
• Provide backup and recovery services in case of any problem identified after patching.
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
• Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.
• Prepare security documentation for input to Computer Security.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in Operating Systems, Application Systems, Information Retrieval Tools, Programming Languages, Operating Infrastructure, Networking and Communications
• Knowledge in Linux, Database, Middleware, Azure
• ITIL Foundation and project management techniques.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking and information acquisition
• Written and oral expression
