Description

As a Senior Cloud Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, solutioning, and implementation of a cloud-centric network infrastructure, supporting a global SDN-based enterprise network spanning over 100 locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring highly available, secure, and scalable connectivity across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, enabling the company's SD-WAN-based Enterprise Connectivity Transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud & SDN Network Design: Collaborate with Network Architects to develop cloud-native and software-defined network architectures that integrate with on-premises and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Low-Level Design & Implementation: Translate high-level network architecture into detailed deployment designs, ensuring compatibility with cloud and enterprise networking technologies.
• SD-WAN & Hybrid Connectivity: Drive the deployment and optimization of SD-WAN solutions, interconnecting data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments with high performance and security.
• Network Automation & IaC: Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python to automate network configurations and deployments across cloud platforms.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure network designs align with security best practices (Zero Trust, SASE, IPS/IDS) and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Proof-of-Concept & Testing: Validate new network technologies, SD-WAN vendors, and cloud networking solutions through PoC initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Operational Transition & Documentation: Develop comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to enable seamless handoff to operational networking teams.
• Incident Response & Escalation Support: Provide escalated troubleshooting and support for complex network issues in hybrid cloud and SD-WAN environments.
