Job Description
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at LUMIQ. As a DevOps Engineer at LUMIQ, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing DevOps solutions across both internal and external projects. Your focus will be on building robust DevOps processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and automation within the project landscape. You will work at the intersection of automation, system reliability, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment processes. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in operational workflows and help deliver high-performance solutions for our customers.
Requirements
Required skills:
- Sound knowledge of Linux system & networking internals, and Container runtimes.
- Experience working with one or more cloud providers - AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Hands-on with IAC (Infra as Code) - Terraform or others.
- Solid understanding of running apps in container environments, dockerising applications and orchestration using Kubernetes, helm and service mesh deployments.
- Open-source tooling and configuration management exposure with nginx or httpd, ansible or others.
- Hands-on with development and deployment of CI/CD on cloud or Jenkins and similar.
- Server-side scripting using bash, python or equivalent.
- Decent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and documentation skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 3+ Years of experience in the role of infrastructure, DevOps, platform. Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and infra engineering best practices.
Bonus points (nice to have or preferred skills but not mandatory):
- Exposure working with databases, data analytics and warehousing services on cloud.
- Exposure to architectural and systems designing best practices.
- Exposure of working in Professional Services.
- Familiarity of BFSI domain.
- Familiarity and understanding of Data, Snowflake, AI and ML
