Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience with AWS, Jenkins, Terraform, Git, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting, and automation tools.
How will you make an impact?
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure resources.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and ECS.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitOps, and Spacelift.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop automations using Python, Groovy, and Shell to streamline operational workflows.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions for high availability and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment.
- Incident Resolution: Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, build failures, and deployment issues.
- Availability: Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required for critical deployments and support.
Have you got what it takes?
- Experience: 5-8 years in DevOps or a similar role.
- Cloud Expertise: Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, VPC, Route53, CloudFront, IAM, Lambda.
- IaC Tools: Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker and ECS.
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions & Workflows, and Spacelift.
- Scripting Skills: Expertise in Python, Groovy, and Shell scripting.
- Version Control: Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, etc.
