Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our continuous integration and delivery pipelines. You will work closely with the development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and scalable software deployments. Your expertise in automation, cloud platforms, and infrastructure management will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth workflows and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the development lifecycle.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and on-premise environments.
• Monitor system performance and uptime using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues and production incidents.
• Ensure security best practices are followed during software development and deployment.
• Improve software quality through automated testing and monitoring.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Experience with security practices and ensuring compliance in a cloud environment is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.).
• Familiarity with microservices architectures.
• Experience with serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
