Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub, MongoDB, Azure or GCP, and Kubernetes. As an SRE, you will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, and improve scalable and reliable cloud-based infrastructure on Azure or GCP.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions for automated and secure deployments.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Database Reliability: Monitor, optimize, and maintain MongoDB databases for performance, availability, and scalability.
• Monitoring and Observability: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track system health, alerting, and log analysis to proactively address issues.
• Incident Response: Troubleshoot, resolve, and document system incidents, implementing root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Automation: Identify opportunities to automate operational tasks, improving efficiency and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate reliability practices into the application lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with Azure or GCP, including infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB administration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and containerized environments.
• Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in Azure or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹600.00 - ₹700.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
