To be successful you will need:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Cloud Management: Deploy and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog to ensure system health and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices, implement IAM policies, and perform vulnerability assessments.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers in production environments.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize software release cycles and improve system performance.
Skills
- Experience: 8+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE roles.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications are a plus).
- IaC Tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE experience preferred).
- Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Security & Networking: Experience with IAM, VPC, VPN, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
- Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server.
Additional information
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Exposure to databases (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with cost optimization and FinOps strategies
