Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and optimize system performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS and Azure, CI/CD pipeline development, and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Setup and Management

• Design, implement, and manage virtual machines using Terraform.
• Configure networking, security groups, and autoscaling solutions using Terraform on AWS and Azure.
• Ensure smooth transitions between development, staging, and production environments.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployments and improve delivery efficiency.

3. Application and Web Server Configuration

• Set up and configure Node.js, Nginx, and PM2.
• Manage Nginx reverse proxy and SSL certificates for secure application hosting.

4. Database Management

• Deploy and manage databases on AWS RDS and Azure SQL.
• Ensure database high availability, performance, and security.

5. System Health Monitoring and Maintenance

• Perform regular system health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure timely application of OS updates, patches, and security updates.

6. Backup and Recovery Planning

• Implement and manage automated backup solutions using AWS and Azure services.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, including defining critical system priorities and recovery time objectives (RTO).

7. Documentation and Support

• Document client requirements, infrastructure setup, and operational procedures.
• Provide detailed support documentation and assist clients with troubleshooting and issue resolution.

8. Incident Management and Ticket Handling

• Manage and prioritize support tickets.
• Conduct pre-checks to determine if issues are related to infrastructure or application layers.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a DevOps engineering role.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS and Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Scripting: Strong knowledge of Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Application Hosting: Experience with Node.js, Nginx, and PM2.
• Security: Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Communication: Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Terraform.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in a high-availability production environment.
