Senior Data Geo Analyst

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement scalable, real time data pipelines to collect, transform and process location-based data (e.g., GPS, Sensor, API feeds) for dashboard and analytical use cases, using cloud-based distributed computing framework.
• Design, optimize and maintain geo-spatial workflows, ensuring efficiency and scalability for real-time analytics.
• Collaborate with business users to implement geo-spatial algorithms such as ETA, geo-fencing, route optimization.
• Ensure high data accuracy, quality and consistency through robust validation, anomaly detection and error-handling strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role with a proven record of designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with geo-spatial data processing and real-time streaming, handling high-volume, location-based data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, with hands-on experiences in geo-spatial libraries and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of geospatial databases and tools (e.g., PostGIS, Mosaic), spatial indexing and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks) and distributed data processing framework (Apache Spark, Kafka).
• Familiarity with geospatial APIs, GIS-based visualization frameworks (Mapbox, Leaflet, Kepler.gl).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹190,000.00 per month
