Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with over 4 years of experience in handling, processing, and managing data using Python. The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for performance and scalability.

Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support data-driven decision-making.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure data quality.

Required Skills:

4+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Python.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Pandas, Dask, etc.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Prefect).

Understanding of data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and data modeling.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Kafka.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to machine learning pipelines is a plus.
