Senior Data Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer This role is Office Based, Pune Office

As a Senior Data Engineer you will have extensive experience with SQL Server (2016 and 2019), MongoDB/DocumentDB, MySQL, and Oracle. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD processes, Jenkins, GIT, Jira, and AWS, is essential. Exceptional communication skills are crucial to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and manage complex data infrastructure.

In this role, you will...

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.
• Work extensively with SQL Server 2016 and 2019 to manage and optimize databases.
• Leverage MongoDB/DocumentDB, MySQL, and Oracle for data storage and processing tasks.
• Develop and implement scripts using PowerShell and Python for automation and data manipulation.
• Manage and oversee CI/CD frameworks, utilizing tools like Jenkins to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes.
• Utilize GIT for version control and Jira for project management and tracking progress.
• Manage and optimize data infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and developers, to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain high availability.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering, and implement them to continuously improve our infrastructure.
  
  

You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have...

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL Server 2016 and 2019.
• Experience with MongoDB/DocumentDB, MySQL, and Oracle (
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Proficiency with version control systems like GIT.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
• Extensive experience with AWS and management of large-scale data infrastructure on the cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
