THE OPPORTUNITY
We seek an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Data Engineer to drive data-driven solutions, optimize data pipelines, and contribute to data architecture and analytics initiatives. If you have a strong technical foundation, a passion for data engineering, and excellent problem-solving skills, we would love to have you on our team.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of data architecture and pipelines.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of data systems.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership.
- Develop and implement advanced data models, data processing frameworks, and solutions for real-time analytics.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Drive data governance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.
Skills Requirement
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
- Expertise in Python, Java, or Scala, with proficiency in SQL.
- In-depth knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data storage solutions.
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and real-time data processing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
