Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

You are attracted by the challenges of being responsible for the stability of base services forming the Swiss Re backbone and feel comfortable leading problem resolution investigations. You are able to remain calm and focused even during stressful situations.

As Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you are an experienced professional with a hands-on mentality and operational skills. In particular, you possess

• 10+ years of engineering expert knowledge in an enterprise infrastructure environment, as an IT professional
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Proficiency in networking concepts (VPNs, firewalls, routing, NAT, DNS).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, or similar).
• Hands on with automation and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles (private links, security groups,).
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment for infrastructure automation.
• Ability to nurture a positive Engineering culture, client-oriented behaviour and can-do attitude
• Ability to work in high-scale, complex enterprise environments and build automated, fault-tolerant integrations.
