Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in India. Our client is a cloud platform for business spend management (BSM) that helps organizations manage their spending, procurement, invoicing, expenses, and supplier relationships. They provide a unified, cloud-based spend management platform that connects hundreds of organizations representing the Americas, EMEA, and APAC with millions of suppliers globally. The platform provides greater visibility into and control over how companies spend money. Small, medium, and large customers have used the platform to bring billions of dollars in cumulative spending under management. The company offers a comprehensive platform that helps organizations manage their spending, procurement, invoicing, expenses, and supplier relationships. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, they aim to streamline and optimize business processes, driving efficiency and cost savings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience building massive cloud-based systems involving applications, services, IaaC, and DevOps.
- Hands-on experience in development with Ruby, understanding using OOPS & Design patterns.
- Knowledge of cloud/SaaS architecture using AWS.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Expertise in coding, data structures, networking, virtualization, design principles, and programming concepts
- A critical thinker and resourceful problem-solver who has a passion for applying technology to make human life better.
- Excellent problem-solving and forward-thinking personality, a leader with a pragmatic approach to decision-making, outcome-driven, open-minded, creative, and with a consistent willingness to innovate and raise the bar
- Have a passion for keeping up with new trends and developments in the programming community and are eager to find ways to incorporate these new ideas into the solutions.
- Experience with Terraform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take responsibility for engineering cloud infra platforms, with opportunities to stretch more broadly. It will include working as a cloud software engineer & infrastructure platform developer in creating services for the infrastructure’s provisioning, orchestration, monitoring, scaling & security.
- Build software for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Develop automation to address operationalization requirements.
- Develop automation to make the fastest and safest possible “application delivery.”
- Communicate with the support and professional services teams to solve customer issues/requests specific to the security domain.
