About this opportunity:
As a Network Engineer with a focus on SDN, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our advanced network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and secure operation of network systems, leveraging your expertise in SDN technologies to drive innovation and optimization.
What you will do:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure network architectures with a focus on SDN technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand network requirements and develop solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Implement and maintain network monitoring and management tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and processes.
- Participate in capacity planning and network performance analysis to support growth and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices to protect network integrity and data privacy.
The skills you bring:
- 3 to 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on SDN technologies.
- Proficiency in SDN platforms such as OpenFlow, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or similar.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are a plus.
