- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure VMs, App Services, Networking (VNets, VPNs, NSG, etc.), Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Functions, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Identity & Access Management (IAM) and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Familiarity with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and automation tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Backup solutions.
- Understanding of networking concepts like DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall configurations in the Azure context.
- Previous experience in incident management, troubleshooting cloud-related issues, and providing customer support.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in a complex Azure environment.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are preferred.
- Experience with third-party Azure management tools or integrations.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Experience working in an ITIL-based environment or similar frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in a cloud support or system administrator role with hands-experience in Azure environments.
What we offer:
- Provide Level 2 support for issues related to Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and other Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and security policies.
- Collaborate with Level 1 support and Level 3 engineering teams to escalate issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor system performance using Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure incident management and problem resolution follows best practices and SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and assist in implementing long-term solutions.
- Provide documentation and knowledge base articles to support both end users and IT teams.
- Assist in Azure migrations, backup/restore activities, and other project-based tasks as required.
- Help with security audits, compliance assessments, and disaster recovery planning for Azure workloads.
