Senior Claims test engineer

Role:

Software Test Engineer (Claims/ ITS) Software Test Engineer with 5-8 years of experience and contribute to the quality assurance of our critical healthcare applications. Need strong functional testing background and proven expertise in testing healthcare systems, including Claims/ITS, HPA, ALIM, LIL, and Facets. Role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Test Planning & Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements specifications and user stories. Utilize various testing techniques (e.g., functional, regression, integration, user acceptance testing).

Functional Testing Expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding of functional testing principles and methodologies. Ability to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and design effective test cases to cover all functional aspects of the application.

Healthcare Domain Focus: Possess strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience testing systems related to Claims processing, Interplan Tele Processing System (ITS), Health Plan Administration (HPA), Application Lifecycle Integration Management (ALIM), Lines of Insurance (LIL), and Facets. Claims/ITS Testing: Proven experience testing healthcare claims processing systems, including familiarity with HIPAA regulations, EDI formats (e.g., 837, 835), and claims adjudication workflows.

HPA Testing: Experience testing systems related to member enrollment, benefits administration, provider management, and other HPA functionalities. ALIM Testing: Knowledge of integration testing concepts and experience testing data flow and interoperability between different healthcare systems.

LIL Testing: Familiarity with various Lines of Insurance (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial) and their specific testing requirements. Facets Expertise: Hands-on experience testing the Facets healthcare platform, including its various modules and functionalities.

Test Execution & Reporting: Execute test cases, document test results, and report defects accurately. Track defects using defect tracking tools and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
