The Senior Business Analyst role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and preparing detailed documentation for the technical team. This position requires close interaction with various business stakeholders to ensure that the requirements are clear and consumable by the technical team, who will break them down into technical tasks. Additionally, the Senior BA will need to mentor a Junior BA and guide them as required.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.

What Our Business Operations Senior Business Analyst Will Do
- Perform responsibility expectations independently and capable of providing Leadership across team:
- Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and nonfunctional for increasingly complex efforts
- Develop documentation for various solutions supported by the Business Operations Team (e.g. Wireframes, Use Cases, business rules, etc.)
- Walk business stakeholders through proposed changes
- Hand off the solution to the technical team to enable them to create and estimate the effort for technical tasks
- Perform and support testing and/or training efforts
- Perform and coordinate the estimation of work
- Participate in system design and configuration activities
- Act as Subject Matter Expert
- Provide mentorship to team members
- Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
- 7+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
