Senior Business Analyst

Annalect is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Technology team. • Engage with business users on proof-of-concept efforts.
• Participate in strategic planning efforts, providing input based on subject area knowledge.
• Provide strategic direction and feedback to internal teams as well as end-users.
• Engage with internal teams to understand architecture implications for potential new features or requirements.
• Engage with business users to understand needs, using domain knowledge to provide recommendations.
• Identify alignments and gaps between end user requirements and system
• Create user personas and journeys, using UML diagrams.
• Document solutions using Business Requirement Specifications / Functional Design Documents / Technical Design Document.
• Manage and track project progress against Functional Traceability Matrix.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously across cross-functional teams.
• Conduct business analysis acceptance testing (BAAT).
• Work with QA teams to ensure that all product use cases are covered, that quality standards are met, and that user value is delivered.
• Work with the development team, delivery team, and Product Managers to ensure that processes are refined and evolved to achieve continuous improvement.
• Work with the Technology team to identify infrastructure investments, third-party technologies, and architectural enhancements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to launch solutions, ensuring execution of training and communication plans.
• Contribute to team activities like daily standups, planning meeting, retrospectives and any other discussions.
• Represent the team on cross team discussions.
• Exert significant influence on product direction. Demonstrate ability to influence organizations outside of team with product or process ideas.
• Lead large development efforts which cross domain boundaries.

• 6+ years of proven work experience as a Technical Product Owner/Business/System Analyst.
• Thorough understanding of Agile processes, and a track record of working in an Agile environment.
• Hands on experience with technical documentation creation and maintenance.
• Good experience in UML diagrams creation or similar.
• Strong knowledge of reporting and Business Intelligence concepts.
• Understanding of Product Owner role in Agile projects.
• Proficient in the use of analytic tools necessary to build prototypes and requirements documents.
• Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence, SQL.
• Advanced written and spoken English skills.

• Experience working as a QA/QC Engineer in the past.
• Knowledge of testing mobile applications, APIs.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis theory, BABOK.
• Professional certification: CSPO / PSPO / IIBA: CBAP
