Senior Business Analyst - Insurance (Property and Casualty - P&C)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the Insurance industry, specifically in Property and Casuality (P&C). The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in digital delivery within Agile environments and possess deep knowledge of insurance products and processes. This role requires high proficiency in liaising with both business stakeholders and development teams and mandates a strong capability of working independently on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prioritize requirements effectively while managing backlogs
• Directly manage communication with business stakeholders and cross-functional development terms, including overseas teams
• Work intensively on creating and optimizing customer journeys
• Employ problem-solving skills to tackle issues encountered during project delivery
• Utilize proficiency in Agile methodologies for digital delivery with a technical emphasis
• Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, and MS Office Suite for technical project management and documentation

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and at least 6 years as a Technical Business Analyst
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field
• Strong experience in the Insurance industry, particularly with P&C insurance products
• Familiarity with concepts of e-commerce, customer lifecycle, digital sales, and customer servicing from a technical perspective
• Extensive experience with stakeholder management across globally distributed and diverse teams

Nice to have

• Formal Business Analysis and Agile certifications
• Insurance certifications such as ALMI, FLMI, AINS, CPCU
• Certifications including CCBA, CSM, PSM, CSPO, PSPO, Safe Agilist
• Knowledge of leading COTS policy administration systems
• Understanding of API basics and hands-on experience with tools like Postman
• Experience with Databases (Relational and NoSQL) including query management
