Senior Big Data Architect

Overview

We are seeking a Senior AWS / Big Data Architect with 8+ years of experience to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS data services, Big Data technologies, data modeling, and ETL pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS-based data solutions.
• Design and optimize data models for analytical and operational use cases.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Leverage AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lake Formation) for data processing and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and DevOps, to enhance data infrastructure.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership on Big Data and cloud strategies.
• Understand DevOps principles for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis).
• Expertise in Big Data processing using Spark, PySpark, and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT best practices for structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience with data security, compliance, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
