Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Overview

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on AWS.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or similar certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Formation, SAM, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Secrets Manager, SSM, EKS, and SNS.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS environments.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS services and resources.
• Perform regular system and application backups, ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Implement and manage security best practices, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and participate in on-call rotations.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support application deployment and integration.
• Provide guidance and support to other team members on AWS best practices and solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for internal stakeholders.
• Perform the following activities in GitHub

o Process of Workflows

o Preparing YAML files for deployments

o Troubleshooting failed jobs

o Configuring and accessing Environment Variables and Actions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?800,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
